What a wonderful site! We had a lovely long weekend here with 24 other members of the family! Love the way we camp round the edge of the field and the middle is for use of cricket, rounders, football, rugby, badminton etc.
The sanitary facilities are very clean - it is 50p per 3 minutes in the shower but in fact you can get 2 children washed and almost yourself on one token.
The local pub in Aylburton (The Cross) was brilliant and very accommodating.
As the name suggests it is a hill and the top of the hill is by far the flattest place to camp (pitches 1-5). It is not like other sites where the pitches are regimented but very free to pitch pretty much how you like. Gazebos are ok and no extra cost.
They have only one price through the year and also the facility to use braziers and wood to sit by in the evenings (£4-£5 per brazier and a bag of wood).
A lovely site managed by Teresa and her husband - highly recommend. It has become our number one site in the UK.
